Snow Baby

Given that we are in "hibernation mode" (because we're in the middle of RSV season and can't expose Emma to viruses/potential sickness), we've been pretty much stuck in the house and are going a bit stir crazy from cabin fever around here lately.
Even though it was cold today (-10 degrees Celcius/14 degrees Farenheit this afternoon), it was beautifully bright and sunny with very little wind, so I decided to let Emma have a bit of fun after we picked up Big Sister from school. I usually leave Emma in her stroller or Chariot carrier while we're outside, but today I let her crawl around in the snow for a bit...

She had so much fun!

At first she just sat there, moving her arms and legs like a starfish, but she soon decided she'd like a taste of snow... I wish I had been quick enough with the camera to capture the look on Emma's face when she smooshed a mittful of snow into her mouth.... it was priceless! :)

After that, Emma was off exploring:

Big Sister tried to introduce her little sister to the fine art of making Snow Angels, but Emma wasn't all that interested. There was just too much snow to taste, and so little time...

Beautiful pics and such great memories...for me! One o four boys had that very same snowsuit when they were 1 y.o. Great memories!! In fact, Trevor asked "Is that me?" LOL.
Beautiful photos, the girls look so happy. J loves to make snow angels, even on the driveway when there is hardly any snow.
Awww theya re the cutest pair. I love seeing babies in the snow. Everything is so new and exciting. Totally love that age.
