Winterlude Fun
Though it is officially over now, the city hosted the 29th edition of our great Winter Celebration, Winterlude, this month.

Over the last three weekends, we visited four times and enjoyed all of the venues, including the Snowflake Kingdom at Jacques Cartier Park:

the ice sculptures at the Crystal Gardens in Confederation Park:



and, of course, the Rideau Canal Skateway:

We met the Icehogs:
[Big Sister thought they were a bit scary]
and had a yummy Beavertail:

The highlight for the girls, I think, was a play area where kids were able to build their own tiny, colourful inukshuks:

Emma got in on the action too:

and decided the ice blocks were better for building:

than tasting:

Nwo my boys are begging me to take them there. I guess we'll have to get there one day. Looks like a terrific day!!
What fantastic Winterlude shots. Looks like both girls had a blast and there is just so much for the kids to do!
Can your Girls get any CUTER? Gosh Darn they are just so beautiful. Look at those cheeks.
I had a great time at Winterlude too this year. I just love it.
